| Following on the success of last year's event, we are delighted once again to invite you to take part in the Betfair.com Pro-Am on Friday 19th August 2005. The venue this year is the Grove in Hertfordshire, offering a superb championship golf course and fabulous accommodation and leisure facilities.
The Betfair.com Pro-Am offers the unique opportunity for you and your guests to play a round of golf with a celebrity from the world of rugby, cricket, golf, and horse racing.
Provisional Itinerary:
8.30am
Bacon rolls and coffee in the club house. Distribution of welcome packs including branded polo Shirt, gold balls and merchandise.
9.30 - 11.00am
Tour Pro coaching session on driving range / chipping green. Leading Golf manufacture Wilson will have a full range of the latest golf equipment for you and your guests to try.
11.00am onwards
Tee-off 1st and 10th holes. Each four ball team will comprise 3 corporate clients and one sporting personality from the world of rugby, cricket, golf or horse racing.
During the round, refreshments will be provided around the course.
12.00pm
Lunch available in club house
6.00pm
Check into your room at the Grove. Your chance to relax and enjoy the superb leisure facilities at your full disposal.
7.00pm
Meet for pre-dinner drinks
8.00pm onwards
Gala dinner including 4 course silver served meal. Betfair big screen and in play betting facility on the NEC Invitational, prize giving and guest speaker.
