Title: Nationwide Commercial Finance Golf Challenge

Brief:
Nationwide wished to create a two stage golf challenge with a final. Locations had to be selected considering their positioning to key Nationwide offices and the geography of the invited guests. The challenge would see the winning two teams competing at a reputable Scottish golfing venue.
Solution:
Sportingclass devised a format that would be consistent across the three days, considering 28 participants over the two regional stages and 16 for the final. The format would take into account registration, breakfast, a demonstration, 18 holes of golf and a 3 course meal with guest speaker who would also award prizes. For this event Roger Chapman and Steve Richardson acted as golfing guests and prived to be a real hit with the clients, playing a hole with all groups.
Sportingclass selected Woburn Golf Club and London Golf Club to host the two regional days with Dalmahoy being chose for the final. While the regional events did not require accommodation, Dalmahoy was selected as it has a 5* hotel within the complex.
To add value to the event Sportingclass provided comprehensive welcome packs containing Canterbury Golfing Jackets, 3 x Titleist NXT Balls, Cleveland Golf Hat, Cleveland Umbrella, Water and Energy Drinks. The awards were engraved glass trophies and golf clubs. Everything was branded with the Nationwide Commercial Finance Logo.
The event gave Nationwide Commercial Finance the opportunity to spend the day in fantastic surroundings in the company of their key clients. Sportingclass ensured that all elements of the day were addressed from arrival to departure and the only thing that was left to chance was the weather!
